Tinctures are one of the most popular and convenient ways to take herbs internally. Tinctures are concentrated herbal extracts that have a very long shelf life and are a great way to begin stocking your herbal medicine cabinet at home.

In this class you will learn what herbal tinctures are. What they are used for. How to make herbal tinctures using the simpler’s or folk method. The differences between using fresh or dried herbs. The different solvents or menstruums that can be used for tincturing, including alcohol, vegetable glycerin and apple cider vinegar. We will also go over the supplies needed to make tinctures, as well as proper storage and dosage amounts.

You will leave this class with a finished and ready to use 2 ounce bottle of organic echinacea tincture, another 2-3 ounces of tincture in the macerating process that you will take home and decant to refill your bottle, as well as, the skills necessary to make herbal tinctures for you and your family!

You will also have access to purchase over 100 herbs in the apothecary and some additional supplies should you like to purchase them for making more herbal preparations.

A full refund will be given if you cancel at least 48 hours in advance, or if the event is cancelled.

If you cancel within 48 hours of the start of class your fee can be transferred to the next Herbal Class that is held. It can only be transferred to the very next event and cannot be transferred more than once.
