In this class we will be making our own herbal tea blends.

We will learn how to appropriately blend herbs based on such factors as medicinal properties and needs, flavors, and plant parts (roots, berries, leaves, flowers, etc.). This will allow us to make herbal teas that are healing and tasty. We will also be learning appropriate ways to prepare these teas, either by infusion or decoction, what those are and how to do them.

We will briefly learn the medicinal properties of a few gentle and effective healing herbs. As well as sample flavors of of the herbs we will be working with. We will also be working with self-sealing tea bags and how to brew with loose teas.

You will leave this class with your own blend of herbal tea, both loose and in tea bags, as well as a reusable cotton muslim tea bag.

A full refund will be given if you cancel at least 48 hours in advance, or if the event is cancelled.

If you cancel within 48 hours of the start of class your fee can be transferred to the next Herbal Class that is held. It can only be transferred to the very next event and cannot be transferred more than once.
